- Subject: SERWEB Problems
-
- Has anyone experienced SERWEB slow downs? When I leave it up for a while
- without rebooting the computer (lets say about 8 connections to the
- SERWEB) the machine starts to slow down terribly. I am running OS/2 2.1
- with TCP/IP 2.0 and haven't had any problems with any other Windows
- WINSOCK apps. Does anyone have any suggestions?

-
- Oracles SQLNET for DOS as well as the Windows Version, both require
- a complete TCP kernel installed. The Windows version supports a generic
- winsock connection.
-
- I tried running the Trumpet kernel with it and it Croaked big time.
- I am not blaming Trumpet for this, I think SQLNET it a 'Technically
- Challenged' product. It needs a total re-design to run well with
- Windows, and this has not been done.
